Commercial Transportation
BRC is a known authority on injury causation involving commercial transportation events. Over the years, we have investigated:
- Tractor-trailer incidents, including high speed, low speed and sideswipe collisions; trailer underride; collisions involving occupants seated in the cab, sleeping compartment, or other location in the vehicle; and loading/unloading operations.
- Locomotive and train incidents, including collisions of varying severity and velocity, non-collision passenger injuries, rail car door and switch operation, and rail yard injuries.
- Mass transit accidents involving buses, commuter trains, and other means of high occupancy transit. Our analyses account for seating positions, restraints, occupant-to-occupant interaction, crashworthiness and other factors, such as falls, whiplash or head injuries.
