Professional Overview
Dr. Carter has worked in emergency and trauma care at level one trauma centers. In addition to her experience as a physician, Dr. Carter has held multiple leadership positions including Director of Quality and Safety where she performed and directed root cause analyses to evaluate various medical and health safety outcomes and improve the provision of care and safety policies. She continues to practice emergency medicine and provides on shift education to residents, physician assistant students, and medical students.
