STEVEN B. WALTON, MD
With considerable experience in military medicine, Dr. Walton brings significant biomedical expertise to BRC. In 2008, Dr. Walton received a BS in Bioengineering and, in 2009, began his military service with the United States Air Force. His military career involved not only critical care transport, but also emergency medicine, which he practices today as a civilian doctor at Brooke Army Medical Center. Over the course of his career, he has educated students as an assistant professor in military emergency medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Walton is also a member of both the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He is also fluent in Spanish, enabling him to connect with and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients.
